HEALTH & SAFETY

The construction industry is one of the largest within the UK and is the most dangerous - we recognise this and understand our responsibility to ensure our activities are conducted appropriately. Over the years we have invested significantly in the training and mentoring of our staff and we have worked closely with our clients to tackle the key issues that are faced within our industry. We directly employ a QHS&E Manager who oversees our Quality systems, Health & Safety and training on site.

All our site staff and operatives are CSCS card holders, our Foremen have attended and passed the SSSTS or SMSTS course. Project Managers hold IOSH Certificates. We carry out annual appraisals of all Megan employed staff to identify any training requirements paying particular attention to site based personnel.

We pride ourselves in being at the top of the contractors H & S league table on site and continue to push to be number one on all the sites we work on.

Our business is committed to achieving high standards of health and safety on the work we undertake through effective management procedures and the constant development of the systems, procedures and techniques to control risk by systematic review of performance based on data from proactive and reactive monitoring and independent audits of our health and safety management system.

We recognise that our operations may have environmental implications and as a business we aim to ensure that the impact caused by our activies is as low as possible and we commit to actively work with our clients to provide sustainable solutions wherever possible.

We are members of BESA under which we have SSIPS certification, CHAS accredited and Constructionline registered. We are also ISO9001 2015 Certified.
